Desert Diva's House of Style is located in North Glendale, Arizona, owned and operated by Celebrity hairstylist and Salon owner Lori Smith.  Lori and her family relocated from Dallas, Texas bringing with her 23 years of professional business and salon industry experience.  Lori's career starts in Utah in 1986 where she attended Redkens School of Cosmotology and Sherman Kendall's Academy of Trichology Sciences.  Lori graduated  CEU with her Cosmotology/Barber License and Asso. in Business.  Lori went on to study under platform artist Sherman Kendall in 1988 and toured  Utah and surrounding western states doing stage work early in her career.  In 1989 Lori attended and graduated from Sherman Oaks Academy of Cosmetic Arts adding yet another facet to her repertoire.  Throughout her career Lori has been an educator for companies such as Artec, Brocato, Ammoresse and Sebastian.  Lori is certified in Framesi, JPMS the color, Goldwell and Redken Color also carrying certification with PureOlogy, Aquage, Redken, Enjoy and may other professional lines.  

Lori has been licensed in three states~Utah,Texas and Arizona-currently holding an active license in the State of Arizona.  In 1997 the latter part for her career in Utah, Lori owned her own salon for 3 years on Main Street in her hometown of Bountiful, Utah where she grew up. In 2000 Lori and her famiy moved to Dallas, Texas where she continued her work and extensive education and mastery of the industry.  Leaving Dallas/Ft. Worth in 2003, Lori and her family moved to Arizona where she established Desert Diva Inc.. Lori has sinced furthered her career and continues in world class education to bring you the best and most up to date styles and products available in the industry.  Desert Diva's House of Style has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and decor for you to come in and just unwind, relax and enjoy being pampered. Lori does not double book your appointment,  so rest assured that you will be the center of attention during your appointment. 

Lori loves to meet new guests and brings her own unique style and standards to the Salon/Spa forum.  Lori believes that providing exceptional service, education and consistency is the difference between an average experience or a fantastic experience.   Being able to duplicate or exceed the guests expectations every time they come in is curcial to maintaining a clientelle and retaining new guests.  "I find that people are very hungry for knowledge and to actually experience great service with fantastic results! Giving the guest a rewarding and positive experience and consistency every time that guest comes in is curcial." 

Knowledge paired with mastery, skill and consistency is vital.  "Guests want current information regarding trends in beauty and well being as well as good listening skills to achieve positive results."  "My job is to key in on that and provide them with fantastic customized services, and the appropriate  education, products and tools they need to recreate what I have done for them, at home."  Creating a bond and/or trust between guest and stylist is vital to a great experience.  "I want everyone who comes in, to experience total focus on them and their wants and needs, ultimately making them feel special -because they are!"  Total focus is important because so many salons today are just to impersonal.  Desert Diva's does not overlap or schedule more that one appointment at a time.
