SALON/SPA SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS

BRIDAL SERVICES

I am so happy to have the opportunity to be part of your special day! It is my MISSION to make your pre-wedding pampering session as fun and relaxing as possible.

All pricing includes false eyelash application (if desired), as well as a touch-up kit of necessary goodies to keep you looking fresh and flawless all day long.

For prep locations greater that 15 miles from my home/business, I do charge a $50 flat travel fee.

For start time prior to 8AM, additional fees will apply.

Discounted packages are available for larger bridal parties.

Bride, hair and makeup - $250
Additional bridal party members, hair and makeup - $130

Bride, hair or makeup only - $150
Additional bridal party members, makeup or hair only - $75

A trial run is offered (and recommended) at my Salon in North Glendale for an additional fee.

Conditioning Treatments and Masques
Hair is throughly cleansed with Purifying Shampoo to remove enviornmental

pollutants, minerals and hard water deposits, chlorine and product build-up.

A custom made Masque or Treatment is carefully applied to all hair strands and processed, followed by a custom leave-in treatment to seal and protect.

(20 min. $15-$35)

Glossing and Glazing

Slip into the healthiest, purest color-shine of your life with ammonia-free, protein based transluscent color gloss treatments.
Luminous shades of rich lasting color gloss for any hair type that is peroxide and ammonia-free.

Enrich and illuminate individual hair strands with deposit-only, botanical-rich infusers that will condition, and seal the cuticles of your hair.

Hair is throughly cleansed with PureOlogy Purifying Shampoo to remove enviornmental pollutants, minerals, hard water deposits,

chlorine and product build-up. ($30)

Permanently Straight Hair Systems
A scientific approach that permanently transforms hair from frizzy, curly, wavy or even course hair into silky, beautiful, controlled, permantly straighter hair.
There are 2 different processes for this type of treatment.
Cold process- service is for hair that is finer in texture and lower in density and has a mild, gentle curl or wave pattern. How does it work?
Chemicals are first used to make the hair elastic. Hair can be straightened with minimal processing.
During the process all bonds are permanently reformed in the hair.
Hot process- service is for hair that is courser in texture and is med. to heavy in density and has a strong wave or curl pattern.
Also for hair that has multiple wave patterns. How does it work? Chemicals are first used to make the hair elastic. Hair requires more time
to process and may use Thermal Ionic Flat Ironing inbetween proccesses and after neutralizing along with extensive conditioning.
In house hair analysis and consultation is always required to determine which method will be best suited for your hair type.
Permanent straightening may be performed on color treated hair upon inhouse consultation and analysis.
(Cold process 195+   Hot Process 295+)
Lenght, texture and density of hair will affect pricing.
How long does it last?
This is a permanent treatment that will last until your hair grows out or is cut. New growth should be treated in about
3-6 months, depending on your hair and your preferences. If after 3-6 months you would like a re-touch, I use a special protective
conditioner to keep the chemicals away from the already straightened sections of your hair. This step requires skill and experience.
How long does it take?
Usually about 3-4 1/2 hours, depending on your hair's condition and length. More time is required if you are having a
glossing or glazing and/or haircut added to your service.
How do I care for my newly straightened hair?
I recommended only the best professional products to ensure the integrity of your hair. PureOlogy Shampoos, Conditioners and Leave-in Treatments
and Masques are a must after a straightening service to replace lost moisture and essential protein to the hair and restore it's natural PH balance.
Glossing and/or Glazing is highly recommended after a service such as this as the chemicals
may lift your natural or color treated hair slightly.  Glosses/glazes are peroxide and ammonia-free and will assist the hair in restoring
it's youthful shiney apperance while conditioning hair and sealing the cuticle. You may also use thermal tools such as
flat irons or curling irons on your hair for styling as long as you are using a spray in thermal protector on your hair before
applying the thermal tool. Only one pass of a thermal tool is nessecary when the hair has been straightened.
Continual passes of a thermal tool on a daily basis, even on unprocessed hair will result in breakage and will blow the cuticle off the hair strand.
Hair is in a delicate state after chemical services and must be treated with care.
What should I tell Desert Diva's before having the process done?
Please tell me of any chemical processes done to your hair such as perms, hair coloring, previous hair straightening, etc.
Best results are usually achieved on fine, uncolored, undamaged hair. Also, please inform me of any scalp conditions
and/or allergies you have. Unfortunately, if you have bleached hair or bleached highlights requiring more than 20 volume developer,
I am unable to do this service for you. Bleached hair is too dry inside lacking moisture and protein and
using straightening chemicals on it will result in dry, frizzy hair.
PLEASE NOTE: Even if you have previously highlighted hair that was redone all in one color, the highlighted sections
that are covered over still have the properties of highlighted hair so the results will be unsatisfactory. If you have naturally spiral-type hair
you may have the service done but be aware that you may have some recoiling. Also be aware that results can be mixed, some parts
will remain straight while others may experience recoiling. You must have resonable expectations!
If you have very dry hair, your hair must be extensively conditioned on a weekly basis with custom made protein Hair Treatments or masques
one to two months prior to service being performed to restore hair to a healthy state. Please feel free to contact me if you

Last but not least.
I will not quote a price over the phone. It is impossible to do without actually seeing your hair. Consultations are FREE.
Pricing above is a starting price for short hair (above the shoulders). You must have an inhouse consultation prior to this service.
You may not perform other chemical services on your hair like color processes using over 20 volume developer.
Absolutely NO store bought in home color, highlighting, perms, or other straighteners. Professional quality hair products are a must!
